If you're applying for a federal grant and would like to request a letter of support from my office, please fill out the form below. Congressional letters of support can help show grant reviewers that your project has buy-in from regional stakeholders and make your application more competitive.

Submission of this information does not create a binding commitment on any party nor a guarantee that any organization or program will be awarded funding from any federal agency through the appropriation process. Furthermore, the submission, review, and approval of applications for federal funding will be carried out in a manner consistent with federal agency rules and regulations. This request may be made publically available.
The rules of the House of Representatives prohibits Representatives from requesting earmarks. Congressional earmarks are defined in House Rule XXI:
“[T]he term “congressional earmark” means a provision or report language included primarily at the request of a Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, or Senator providing, authorizing or recommend a specific amount of discretionary budget authority, credit authority, or other spending authority for a contract, loan, loan guarantee, grant, loan authority, or other expenditure with or to an entity, or targeted to a specific State, locality or Congressional district, other than through a statutory or administrative formula-driven or competitive award process.”
