Congresswoman Sara Jacobs is a third-generation San Diegan and proudly serves California’s 51st Congressional District, which includes San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa, and Lemon Grove.
Congresswoman Jacobs is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she serves as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Africa, and is also a member of the House Armed Services Committee. In the House Democratic Caucus, she serves as the Parliamentarian. At 37 years old, she is one of the youngest members of Democratic House leadership.
