Congressional App Challenge
The Congressional App Challenge is designed to inspire students’ creativity and encourage youth participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This nationwide event invites students from across the country to compete against their peers by creating and exhibiting an original app.
I’m proud to represent so many bright and talented young minds in San Diego, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing apps in this year’s competition! Explore this page for more information and how to apply.
2023 Winner
Last year, a group of students – Jonathan Han, Andy Laing, Alex Tang, and Junpeng Zhao – were CA-51’s winners in the Congressional App Challenge. Their “Feed Me Smart” app was designed to help immigrants find nutritious food and adapt to life in the U.S.
