Appropriations Requests
Appropriations Requests for Fiscal Year 2027
Every year, the United States Congress writes and passes 12 appropriations bills, which provide the federal government with the funding it needs to operate. These bills fund a wide range of activities and programs, including government operations, education, medical research, national defense, foreign assistance, infrastructure, and more.
As a part of the annual process, individuals and organizations can submit programmatic or language requests directly to Members of Congress for consideration. Programmatic requests include funding for specific federal programs that are important to you or your organization. Language requests include specific policy directives to federal agencies.
Please use this Appropriations Request Form to submit your requests for the FY2027 budget.
The deadline to submit programmatic and language requests to Congresswoman Jacobs’ office is March 9, 2026 at 6pm Pacific.
Please note:
-
Requests should be limited to one program per submission. Submissions including multiple requests will not be considered.
-
This is not the form for Community Project Funding (CPF) requests.
-
Fields marked with an “*” are required.
-
If your submission is selected for further review, you may be asked to provide additional information and documentation beyond this form. The Appropriations process can move very quickly – please be as responsive to staff outreach as possible.
