Today, the House of Representatives passed the fiscal year 2022 budget resolution, the next step in advancing the Build Back Better Act via reconciliation this fall.
Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, a member of the Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth, released the following statement:
“I proudly voted today for the fiscal year 2020 budget resolution, the next step in advancing the Build Back Better Act. As the process continues, I am pushing for transformative investments in our future— starting with child care and extending the expanded Child Tax Credit.
“My constituents have been very clear - we can't go back to normal, because for too many families, normal didn't work. We have to build an economy that works for all families. We need to meet this moment.”
