Rep. Sara Jacobs announces over $43 million in Shelter and Services Program funding to San Diego organizations

Rep. Sara Jacobs (CA-51) announced a total of $43,675,626 in additional funding – $22,077,365 to Jewish Family Service of San Diego and $21,598,261 to The Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego – has been granted through the Shelter and Services Program.

Rep. Sara Jacobs said, “This grant plays a crucial role in supporting our San Diego community organizations who work tirelessly every day to provide migrants and asylum seekers with a respectful and humane quality of life as they determine their next steps. I am proud to secure these additional funds for San Diego as I continue to fight for effective immigration reform that supports our border communities.”
