Rep. Sara Jacobs’ Statement on President Zelenskyy’s Address to Congress

Following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to a Joint Meeting of Congress, Congresswoman Sara Jacobs (CA-53) released the following statement:

“It was incredible to witness history and welcome President Zelenskyy to Congress. The United States’ continued support for Ukraine against Russia’s unprovoked aggression must remain a top priority. We need to see Ukraine through this winter, the end of this conflict, and the eventual reconstruction and recovery. That’s why I’m glad the House will pass $45 billion in additional funding for Ukraine and my provision of allowing the U.S. to provide assistance to the ICC’s investigation so we can ensure accountability and justice. Earlier this month, I was back in Ukraine and saw firsthand that their strength and resolve are stronger than ever. Our unwavering support – through weapons and economic and humanitarian aid – will continue turning that resolve into results on the battlefield so we can help end this war.”
